The NRA-ILA Wisconsin Campaign field team recently went outside-the-box and set up at MotorMania 2020 over the Fourth of July weekend. Nothing is quite more American than classic cars, motorcycles, live rock n’ roll, and, of course, NRA! Volunteers helped staff the NRA-ILA table all weekend long to recruit FrontLines volunteers, hand out NRA-ILA literature, and talk with attendees about NRA’s election efforts across the state and ways they can help protect the Second Amendment.
Overall, the team recruited 66 new Frontlines members with 12 of them committing to volunteering with direct voter contact initiatives in the coming months. NRA gear was a huge hit for attendees and the new outreach built a great coalition with the car community. It was a fantastic opportunity to reach a broader audience of freedom-loving Wisconsinites and fun was had by all!
