NRA-ILA Second Amendment Activist Center, Ravenwood Lodge, hosted the 10th Annual Justin Corbet Foundation “Youth in the Outdoors Day”. It truly was an honor for your NRA-ILA to receive an invitation to get involved with this event. In early June, Ravenwood Lodge hosted youth from various regions of Kansas. Why? To allow these kids to experience various aspects of outdoor activities firsthand. Some of the free activities included Archery and BB Gun Clinics, Waterfowl and Turkey Calling, Hunter Safety Education, and Wildlife Habitat Education. Your NRA-ILA was in attendance, educating these young people about why we have our Second Amendment rights and the history of the NRA protecting those rights for all law-abiding Americans. Spending some quality time outdoors with kids can provide a prime example of why being involved in outdoor activities matters in this country. Giving that experience to youth that may not have opportunities to have those sorts of experiences will truly make an impact in their lives. Thank you, Ravenwood Lodge, for providing this experience to hundreds of kids.
